North Dakota Labor Leaders Scholarship Fund

The North Dakota AFL-CIO Labor Leaders Scholarship was established to recognize the accomplishments and dedication of our past and present union officers. In addition, our affiliated local unions recognize that education is the key to an enhanced standard of living with opportunities for advancement. It is that presupposition which motivated our members to develop the scholarship and extend to you a helping hand in your education

To Apply: Send applicant full name, address, phone number and Union local to 1323 E Front Ave. Bismarck, ND 58504.

Guidelines & Rules:
1: Applicant must be a union member of a ND AFL-CIO Affiliated Union. Also, children and spouses of union members are eligible.
2: Scholarships are available ONLY FOR students planning on attending a North Dakota University, College, Technical or Trade School.
3: If Applicant is chosen for the ND Labor Leaders Scholarship, Student must send proof of registration to the North Dakota AFL-CIO at 1323 E Front Ave. Bismarck, ND 58504. This must be done as soon as possible.
4: Applications for the ND Labor Leaders Scholarship must be post marked no later than May 31st.
5: Awarded Scholarship dollars will be sent DIRECTLY to the North Dakota Institution of Higher Education in which the student is enrolled.
6. The drawing will be held at the next ND AFL-CIO Executive Council following the deadline for applications to be in.
